Friday 5th December 10am - 9:30pm
Saturday 6th December 10am - 9:30pm
Sunday 7th December 10am - 7pm

2008 is Lincoln Christmas Market's 27th year and promises to be as popular as ever!
Brightly coloured stalls decorated with lights, selling every conceivable Christmas gift and the traders in Victorian costume. The aroma of chestnuts roasting, mince pies and hot mulled wine. The delicate sound of hand bell ringers or local choirs singing carols by lantern light, street theatre and beautiful services in the majestic Cathedral.

Thought to be the biggest market of its type in Europe, visitors can expect to find a mix of quality hand-crafted goods, gifts, locally produced specialist foods and entertainment, set against the backdrop of Lincoln's magnificent cathedral and castle.

For those seeking distinctive Christmas gifts, shoppers should take time to explore the multitude of craft stalls.
With everything from ceramics and woodcarvings, to glassware, jewellery, wooden toys, sculptures, mirrors and hand-wrought iron, there are ample opportunities to find that special gift.

Visitors should find something for every taste and budget. Some stalls are unique to Lincoln and Lincolnshire; others travel the globe to trade at Lincoln's Christmas Market.
