Nottingham Treasures: DH Lawrence & Haggs Farm

D H Lawrence & Haggs Farm invites all literature enthusiasts and fans of renowned English novelist, poet and critic David Herbert Lawrence, to enjoy an evening dedicated to his famous works. The reading will be held on 10th September 2008 at the Nottingham Central Library, Angel Row in Nottingham from 19.00 hours to 20.45 hours. D H Lawrence is famous for his popular novels Sons and Lovers (1913) and Lady Chatterly's Lover (1928). Clive Leivers of the Haggs Farm Preservation Society will explore the friendship of the Chambers family with young Lawrence and the importance of the Haggs Farm.
